Java 2 Platform Standard Edition 5.0

Beginning to look at JDK5.0 - very impressive. Finally java will add features that were missing from the language from the very beginning for a long time.

Most impressive in my oppinion are:

  • Generics
  • Enhanced for Loop
  • Autoboxing/Unboxing
  • Varargs
